No sneaky business, just honest talk about your data (or lack thereof!)
Let's cut to the chase: Gchat is all about no login, no fuss, no data hoarding. We hate apps that ask for your life story just to let you edit a photo – so we don't do that.
Here's the tiny list of things we might "collect" (and we use that word loosely):
Since we don't collect your personal data, there's not much to use – and that's the way we like it!
The only "use" of your data is to make Gchat work for you:
Absolutely not! Your photos stay on your device, and only you can decide to share them (via social media, email, etc.). We don't sell your photos, we don't share them with advertisers, and we don't send them to our friends (we have our own photos to look at).
Nope! No cookies, no trackers, no pixel tags – nothing that follows you around the internet. Gchat is a standalone app that lives on your phone, not a website that spies on your browsing.
You bet! Since all your data is on your device, you can delete photos, projects, or even the entire app whenever you want. No need to send us a request – you're the boss of your phone.
If you email us at gchatvideo827@outlook.com, we'll only keep your email address long enough to reply to your question. Once we've helped you, we won't store your email (we don't want to clutter our inbox – or yours).
Gchat might use a few third-party tools (like video export libraries) to make the app work – but we only choose tools that respect your privacy.
These third parties don't have access to your personal data, and they can't track you outside of Gchat. We read their privacy policies (yes, really) to make sure they're as chill as we are.
If we ever change this privacy policy (which we don't plan to do), we'll let you know by updating it in the app. We won't sneak in big changes without telling you – transparency is our middle name (okay, not really, but it should be).
Any changes will be about making privacy better, not worse – we promise.

We're happy to explain anything (in plain English, no jargon!) – just ask.
